An event every week that begins at 9:30am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, repeating until April 13, 2017
Do you have what it takes to survive as an 18th-century kid? Test your coloni-ability in this fun competition, and discover what life was like before electricity and gas engines! Working with a team of new friends, participants encounter a series of challenges of everyday survival for New York colonists:
• Build a sturdy fence for your crops.
• Haul 50 pounds of grain to the second floor of the mill.
• Grind grain into flour and bake it into your own bread.
• Transform fleece from a shaggy, dirty mess into a finished woven fabric.
Come experience this unplugged, outdoor, immersive fun time!
What do you need to bring? A positive attitude, a bag lunch, and good outdoor shoes. A snack is provided.
Each day is a totally different experience. Join us for one day or all four!
