If you’re a fan of Smorgasburg in Williamsburg, then mark your calendar for the Rivertown Public Market, a free local food festival happening this weekend. Opening this Saturday on the banks of the Hudson in Dobbs Ferry, the pop-up market will feature local culinary favorites like The Cookery’s Dave Dibari, who may be Westchester’s top chef, as well as plates from the always-delicious Harper’s, Bread & Brine, Boro6, among others. And if your mouth isn’t watering yet, think: pulled pork, lobster rolls, burgers, samosas.
For $5, you can buy a wristband for drinks, and kids will have as much fun as the parents. Mario the Magician, (we love this guy!), performs at 11am, and Hastings Yoga, Edge Martial Arts and Westchester Turf and Tennis offer free lessons to wee ones throughout the day. Expect live music, too.
The Rivertown Public Market, located in the parking lot near the Dobbs Ferry train station, is this Saturday, September 22 from 11am to 4pm. Don’t miss it!
