Anyone who has had a whiff of their kid’s KEENS after a hike knows just how bad little feet can smell. But really we all could use a little spritz if we’re going to walk in flip-flops all day. My friend, Silvana, is an herbalist, and I’ve been using an all-natural foot spray she blended for me. It’s been especially useful in my 8-year-old’s sneakers, but I love it, too. It erases all odors. “Spray it on your feet in the morning or directly into your shoes, and you’ll see a difference at the end of the day,” she says. Best of all, you make it yourself.
To make the solution, combine in a small spray bottle:
-20 to 25 drops of tea tree oil
-10 drops of mint oil
-10 drops of lemon oil
-10 drops of lavender or eucalyptus (depending on your preference)
-3 ounces of alcohol
Let me know if it works for you!
