I love Easter, if for no other reason than because it signals the beginning of spring and warmer temperatures. It’s finally time to get outside and visit the local nature centers and farms again! If the weather doesn’t cooperate, though, we’ve also got some indoor ways to celebrate.
Hunt for Easter Eggs
In addition to the local egg hunts going on in many Westchester towns, some nature centers are also holding events; check out the classic ones at the Greenburgh Nature Center (March 25) and Hilltop Hanover Farm (March 31). At The Wolf Conservation Center (April 1), the twist is that you’ll be hiding eggs from the wolves!
See Some Real Bunnies, Chicks and Lambs
March 25 is Rabbit Day at Muscoot Farm, and Stone Barns starts its warm-weather weekends on March 31, where the programming includes everything from gathering fresh eggs to meeting newborn lambs and chicks.
