I love the tradition of school photos, but am never sure about what to do with the wallet-size ones that come in every photo package. Now that everyone just has pictures on their phone, who, exactly, is still passing around these wallet-size photos? I can’t give them away, even to the grandparents. They want the larger ones for framing.
So I keep them in an envelope, and the collection grows every year. I feel bad about throwing them out, but I don’t know what to do with them either. They’ve just been sitting in my desk drawer, bugging me. I mentioned this on a Facebook post recently, and a friend replied to tell me she saw a great frame at Michael’s (shown above) that has a slot for each wallet photo. After 12 diligent years of collection, it will exhibit your child’s growth through the years. I loved this idea and ran out to buy one for each of my kids.
Here are a few other neat ideas that I found on Pinterest on how to use up your wallet-size photos.
