Rivertowns Square, the new shopping/restaurant destination just off the Saw Mill Parkway in Dobbs Ferry, announced yesterday that Brooklyn Market will open an 18,000-square-foot supermarket there this fall. Known as Harvest Market in Williamsburg, the Dobbs Ferry location will offer a full-service meat and seafood department in addition to fresh produce and prepared foods.
This is welcome news for those in the Rivertowns who have few good grocery options. The Foodtown in Hastings isn’t great (although, local residents seem to love it!), and while the Stop and Shop in Dobbs is better, a gourmet market known for its stellar customer service and cleanliness is a welcome addition to any town. Also at Rivertowns Square is the luxury iPic theater, Chipotle, Chop’t, a Learning Experience toy shop, City Perch restaurant, and a soon-to-open Hilton Garden Inn.
“We had the opportunity to choose from several supermarkets and gourmet food stores to join the other great tenants at Rivertowns Square, but we chose Brooklyn Market because they consistently demonstrated their ability to deliver quality at every turn and provide customers with incredible service in all of their eight locations,” said Martin Berger, Managing Member of Saber Dobbs Ferry and the center’s owner/developer. “Yes, there are other markets that have produce and products almost as fresh as Brooklyn Market, but none with the level of service the founders of Brooklyn Market demand.”
Can’t wait to check it out!
