Remember that depressing food court on the top floor of The Westchester in White Plains? It’s gone. And in its place is SAVOR, a slick and sophisticated foodie destination with two restaurants now open.
Whitman’s New York, a farm to table burger and craft beer joint from the city, and Mighty Quinn’s Barbecue, featuring tender smoked meats and southern-inspired sides, are serving customers amid various order and go seating options, including picnic tables, high top tables and modern white tables and chairs. The additional eateries, including Juice Generation (love!), Tomato & Co. Neapolitan Pizzeria, and Hai Street Kitchen, will open over the next few months.
There is an outdoor patio overlooking downtown White Plains. A long gas fireplace is a nice place to take your food.
Kids will like the new PLAY space, now open. It has a piano you can play standing on the keys, a light up table for Magnatile blocks, a digital art platform, and a toddler/baby soft place for playing.
Bluestone Lane Coffee is ready for business, but it was closed when we went last night.
