“Spectacular.” “Heart-stopping.” “Magnificent.” These are the words used to describe an exciting show beginning tonight at Madison Square Garden. At Circus 1903: The Golden Age of Circus, an extraordinary pair of elephants stomp onto the stage, only they’re not real, they’re enormous, elegantly stitched puppets.
And that’s just the beginning. The master magicians behind The Illusionists and the award-winning puppeteers who created the hit show War Horse banded together to create a turn-of-the-century-inspired circus perfect for all ages. Think: dangerous circus acts from all four corners of the world, from strong men to contortionists, acrobats to high wire artists. We’re going tonight, and it sounds like Barnum & Bailey meets Cirque de Soleil, with a little art thrown in for good measure.
The two hour show is running at Madison Square Garden Wednesday, April 5, through Sunday, April 16. We have free tickets for a family of four to give away. If you win, you’ll be able to choose from the following performances:
